Buchanan, Rev. Albert H. "Abbie"

Of Jackson passed away under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Hospice on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 age 91 years. Survived by four children; Tom (Patti) Buchanan, Mariellen (Terry) Walbeck, Nancy Buchanan, Jill (Pat) Palumbo. Ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, siblings Dick, Larry, Peggy and Kathy, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Alice, two brothers and 2 sisters. He was a Minister, Ordained by the American Baptist Churches of America where he served for 40 plus years. Abbie was a proud amateur radio operator (HAM) and supplied his neighbors and family with fresh fruits and vegetables from his garden.

Services will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1505 W. Michigan Ave., on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fifield Cemetery. Pastor David Eidson will officiate at the Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Wednesday, May 30th from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM.
