Aaron De Senna Fernandes

Aaron Fernandes, aged 24, passed from this world surrounded by family, due to injuries sustained in a motor cycle accident, and entered into Paradise on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Aaron, a 2011 Lumen Christi Catholic High School Graduate, loved his family, friends and helping people. Besides doting on his daughter, Aaron loved watching sports of all kinds, and especially Fantasy Football league. Aaron's fun-loving personality, infectious smile and laugh would light up a room. Left behind to mourn Aaron are his wife Shannon, daughter Aemillia, mother Julie Williams (Matt), and father Carlos Fernandes, siblings Jack and Monica Williams, Hunter Nichols, and Gabrielle Fernandes; Grandparents Michael and Jeanette VanAlst, Susan Kensler, Robert and Doreen Williams; Aunts and Uncles, John and Stacy VanAlst, Luis and Theresa Fernandes, Nuno and Tiana, Matt Krysinski; special cousins Natasha and Isabella; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins and friends. Aaron was preceded in death by brother Alec Fernandes, and grandparents Julie and Nuno de Senna Fernandes.

The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Aaron's life will be at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 120 E. Wesley St., Jackson, on Monday, June 26, 2017, at 10:30 am with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. Private Interment will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 8:30 a.m. until the mass.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the educational trust fund for Aemillia Fernandes C/O Julie Williams, or St. Mary Star of the Sea School would be appreciated.
